Jan 5 – Chanting for Peace

This week starts the year right at the root of yoga. We’re inspired by a reminder of the timeless lessons of yoga, as we confront anger in our lives.

We’ll deal with these impulses toward anger using a Sanskrit mantra, repeated 108 times. “Om Namo Narayanaya”. It’s been called the peace mantra, and has strong roots in the vedic traditions that are making themselves known this week.
