The Isha Kriya is a structured meditation of mantras and breathing patterns. It was created by Sadhguru. We’ll go through this together to help connect to our deeper selves. The basic outline of the Isha Kriya is below, reference the Youtube video for full details.
- sit cross-legged, spine erect
- Stage 1: inhaling while silently “I am not the body”, exhaling while silently “I am not the mind” — 7 to 11 minutes
- Stage 2: 7 x “aaaaaah”, exhaling fully into the sound, with the vibrations coming from just below the navel
- Stage 3: quiet sitting, focus between the eyebrows, 5-6 minutes
