We’re inspired this week by a passage from Shankara’s book The Crest-Jewel of Discrimination. It encourages us toward focused hard work, and away from the endless cycle of thoughts and words.
Meditation practice:
- 108 repetitions of ‘Om Namo Narayanaya’. We used a recording by Swami Purnachaitanya as a guide, so we all synchronize around the same rhythm.
- 10 minutes alternate nostril breathing. Nadi Shodhan
- 6-8 minutes quiet sitting watching the breath.
